Privacy Policy

Updated

1. Who we are

OpenGate Payments, a company registered in Singapore under UEN 138678831, registered office at 7 Temasek Boulevard, Suntec Tower 1, Singapore 038987. This policy explains what data we collect through this website and how we handle it.

2. What we collect

This website has two forms: the application at /apply and the message form at /contact. When you send one, we collect the information you provide.

  • On the application: your name and role, work email address, phone number if you give one, company name, country, registration number and years in business, business website and the platform it runs on, industry, business model, markets served, monthly volume, average ticket, currencies, processing history, chargeback level, the reason you are looking for a new processor, the licenses you hold and your message.
  • On the message form: your name, email address, company, the topic and your message.

With each submission we also receive the language of the page, the address of the page it was sent from, the referring page, any campaign parameters in the link you followed and the time of submission.

The application keeps your answers in your browser’s session storage until you send it, so a reload does not erase them. That copy stays on your device and is removed when the application is sent or the tab is closed.

3. Why we collect it

We use this information exclusively to answer your message or to prepare and respond to your request for a payment gateway offer. That includes reading your file, asking for missing documents and issuing a written offer where applicable. We do not use this data for unrelated marketing and we do not sell or rent it to anyone.

4. Service providers

This website is hosted by Vercel, which runs the form endpoint and keeps short-lived request logs that include the IP address and browser of each request and, when a message could not be delivered, the email address of its sender and its subject line. We use Resend, an email delivery provider, to route form submissions to our inbox; Resend keeps a copy of each message for a limited period. Email sent to our addresses is forwarded to our mailboxes by ImprovMX. Each of them processes the data as a data processor under its own terms.

This website loads Google Tag Manager, which we use to run audience measurement and advertising measurement tags. These tools can collect usage data such as the pages you view, your device type and your approximate location, and can set cookies. For visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, Google’s analytics and advertising storage is switched off by default.

5. Retention

We keep merchant files for the duration needed to answer your request and, where a relationship begins, for the duration of that relationship plus any retention period required by law or by card scheme rules. Files that do not lead to an agreement are deleted after a reasonable period, not exceeding 24 months, unless you ask us to remove them earlier.

6. Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the data you submitted. To exercise these rights, use the message form at /contact. We respond to data requests within a reasonable period, normally within 30 days.

7. Security

Your data is stored on access-controlled infrastructure. Card data never touches this website’s forms: this site collects no card numbers, and payments never occur on this website.

8. Transfers

As a Singapore-based company serving global merchants, your data may be stored or processed outside your country of residence, including in Singapore, the European Economic Area and the United States, where our hosting and email providers operate, always under appropriate safeguards and processor agreements.

9. Changes

We update this policy when our practices change. The updated version takes effect when published on this page. The date above shows the last revision.

10. Contact

For privacy questions, use the message form at /contact or write to the registered office address above.
